For couples who want great photos of the two of you without planning a full elopement or wedding — a surprise proposal on a summit, a windswept engagement session, an anniversary trip worth documenting, or a session for no reason at all. All about capturing the adventure, not staging a shoot.
Franconia Notch, the Kancamagus, the Seacoast at sunrise, or the trail you two already love. Winter sessions on snowshoes or skis welcome — cold weather doesn't slow this down. If you're planning a proposal, I'll work directly with you ahead of time so the moment stays a surprise until it isn't.

What's included in an adventure session?
Personalized location planning built around your trail or view of choice, unlimited calls and emails while we plan it, a sneak-peek gallery within 48 hours so you can share the moment right away, and a full high-resolution gallery, print-released, once editing is done.
Do I need a special occasion to book a session?
No. Proposals, engagements, and anniversaries are exactly what these sessions are built around, but the occasion is optional — plenty of couples book one just because they want great photos of themselves outside.
How do you help keep a surprise proposal a secret?
I work out the story and the timing directly with whoever is proposing, ahead of time, and pick a spot to set up that keeps me out of view until it's happening. Until then I blend in as a hiker or another photographer on the trail, not part of your group.
Where do you shoot adventure sessions?
All over New Hampshire: Franconia Notch, the Kancamagus Highway, the Seacoast at sunrise, or the trail the two of you already love. If you don't have a spot in mind, I'll suggest one based on the season and the light.
Do you shoot winter sessions?
Yes — snowshoes, skis, whatever the season and the two of you are up for. Winter light in the White Mountains is some of my favorite light to shoot in, and cold-weather sessions are always welcome.
How far in advance should we book?
For a surprise proposal, a couple weeks' notice is usually enough to plan the details. For an engagement or anniversary session, book as far out as you'd like. Send me your dates and I'll let you know what's open.
